Accessibility Statement
Last Reviewed: May 27, 2026
CamberPass LLC is committed to ensuring that camberpass.com is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and we implement practices aligned with the updated WCAG 2.2 Level AA standard where applicable.
1) Our Approach
CamberPass LLC believes that digital accessibility is a right, not a feature. Our goal is to provide a platform that car enthusiasts of all abilities can use to discover events, manage registrations, and connect with the community.
We target conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the established legal benchmark under ADA Title III guidance, and we apply WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria (including updated focus appearance and target size requirements) throughout our design and development process.
2) Measures Taken
We take the following steps to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML: Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions (
header, main, nav, footer), and descriptive link text. - ARIA attributes: Where HTML semantics alone are insufficient, we use ARIA roles, labels, and live regions to communicate state and context to assistive technologies.
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive controls are reachable and operable by keyboard. A skip-to-content link at the top of each page allows keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation.
- Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are present on all interactive elements and meet the minimum 3:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.2 Success Criterion 2.4.11.
- Color contrast: Text content meets the 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text (WCAG 1.4.3).
- Target sizes: Interactive controls such as navigation links and buttons meet the 24x24 CSS pixel minimum target size (WCAG 2.2 SC 2.5.8).
- Screen reader support: The application is tested with common screen readers. Dynamic content updates are announced via ARIA live regions.
- Reduced motion: Animations are suppressed for users who have requested reduced motion via their operating system preferences.
- Language declaration: The page language is declared as English (
lang="en") to ensure correct screen reader pronunciation.
3) Known Limitations
While we strive for full conformance, the following areas have known limitations that we are actively working to address:
- Third-party map tiles: Event location maps use third-party tile providers whose rendered map graphics are not fully accessible to screen readers. Address information is also displayed in text form alongside each map.
- QR code scanner: The camera-based QR code scanner used at event check-in has limited screen reader support due to constraints in the underlying browser camera API. Staff-facing check-in functionality is available as an alternative.
- User-generated content: Images uploaded by event organizers may not always include descriptive alt text. We encourage organizers to provide descriptions when uploading event media.
4) Feedback and Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of CamberPass. If you encounter a barrier or have a suggestion for improvement, please contact us:
- Email: contact@camberpass.com
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve reported barriers as quickly as reasonably possible.
5) Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, which enforces Title III of the ADA for places of public accommodation, including websites and mobile apps operated by private businesses.
